A Night of Electronic Music With: STCLVR, Performance Software, Succulent and Sinister, onewayness

  • The 1020 Collective 1020 Holland Street Erie, PA, 16501 United States (map)

STCVLR (pronounced streetcleaver) is the harsh industrial/death ebm project of g mor from western NY. They have been an active force in the east coast/midwest noise and experimental scenes for nearly a decade with releases on independent labels like Crucial Blast, Damien Records, and Phage Tapes. STCVLR Utilizes a small array of table-top electronics, heavily processed vocals, thumping ebm beats, and reasonably outdated software to craft grotesquely mutated "pop" tracks. STCVLR is black metal for witch house fans.

Performance Software is a "Retro-wave" music duo that is a hybrid band made up with electronic and live instruments. Dan Wisniewski plays live drums, overtop of Joe Czarnecki's (Kultur Vultur) guitar, vocals, and sampling and sequencing with the Zoom AR-96. Kultur Vultur is the main composer and songwriter, taking inspiration from 8 and 16 bit retro-games soundtracks, then blending it with pop and rock music of the 80s and 90s to create a sound that is as exploratory and unique as it is reminiscent.
