HOPE: Help Our People Evolve
A Group Exhibition
HOPE is a group exhibition showcasing works from the community that embody the artist’s exploration of the current state of our world expressing or unpacking a sense of (or lack of) hope for the future.
It is a time of great change on this planet. It is hard to avoid the deep outrage, the uproar, the frustration with the failing systems that ignore the needs of the people. Yet, we must remain hopeful.
Hope is a bright feeling - the feeling when the first crocus shows itself after winter, the feeling of dawn, of bright light shining through the window on a crisp day. Hope is high vibration. Hope gives us the will to proceed, to hug loved ones, to rejoice in commUnity, to heal. We all need a little hope. Hopefully, this show offers some, and more.
MOOD BOARD
An Interactive Solo Exhibition by André Jones
“Mood Board” is a fully interactive art and design exhibition by local designer André Jones. This collaboration of minds require all attendees to “embrace their inner creative director” to help develop a collection that best reflects the people of Erie, PA.
The exhibition serves as a kinesthetic learning experience into what the creative process truly entails. From brainstorming, to styling “looks”, all the way down to shooting a look book.
All POVs are not only welcomed, but highly requested and encouraged. Whether you are a fashion designer/enthusiast or someone who appreciates functional clothing, come through and give us what you got!
