​​Views Festival, the first ever mural festival in Erie, PA, welcomes 28 new murals to our city. This show celebrates the Erie-based artists who have shared (and are currently sharing) their talents with the public through the creation of murals around town. It is an exciting moment for Erie. A huge new bloom in our creative renaissance has emerged. 

The work on view is made by the artists who are working hard to express themselves creatively through their personal and professional practice, as well as through community engagements. The work explores their ability to create magnificent fine art pieces - whether for the sake of expressing or as an exploration for the exterior wall. Some of the works are deeply personal, and complete pieces. Others are sketches, or renderings, that are then included in their works around town. I encourage the viewer to both engage with these works in the gallery, as well as take the opportunity to explore Erie.
