1020 Photo Collective

2024 is the start of the 1020 Photo Collective thanks to Gary Cardot. He feels that there is are a lot of talented photographers at 1020 Collective. This show is the start of building a community of photographers who want to collaborate, learn, and create. 

Jenna Lutz is showing her “Senior Art Thesis from Mercyhurst University” She spent her time at Mercyhurst learning and developing her photography style. Her thesis is a study of text with images to tell a story about her friends.

Gary Cardot is showing a collection of infrared photos taken at Preque Isle. He has spent his life making and teaching about photography. His work shows the beauty of Presque Isle with his eye for infrared scenes.

Alex Simpson is showing is collection of street photography he has captured since the start of 2024. He spent four years at Mercyhurst learning and creating his style. With heavy inspiration from the likes of Gary Winogrand and other street photographers he created a body of work to show his first steps into a new style of photography
