The Experimental Art Show

Goals

• Offer An opportunity for new and emerging artists to exhibit their work in a gallery setting 

• Give an outside juror the chance to curate a show at 1020 Collective

• Provide artists with a way to get critiques from a crowd of local artists during two sessions throughout the duration of the show 

What can be submitted 

• New and Experimental work that the artist wants to see in a gallery space created from 2020 to today that has not been shown at 1020

• Any medium will be considered, ready to hang or be displayed. We have several pedestals available for use for 3D works. 

• $10/submission and Up to 3 works allowed per artist 

When

• Submissions will be open until Wednesday, January 24th

• Jurying and hanging will occur the week of January 31 through February 9. 

• The exhibit will open on February 10 during our Downtown Art Brunch from 11-2pm

• The show will run through mid March and be able to be seen during the opening and our open hours or by appt.
