Garden Build Workshop with Tess

Soil Building and Hands-On Garden Build Workshop

Join us for hands-on demonstrations of how to boost soil health in our backyard gardens, and how to build no-till garden beds both from scratch and in year-to-year replenishment. We will walk you through the processes step-by-step, from mapping out the space, collecting the necessary materials, to the construction and layering of beds. We will touch on various methods, including composting techniques, and set up stations around the yard at the 1020 Collective for hands-on practice. This is a great workshop for experiential learners!

In addition, we will allow time for Q & A specific to your own site conditions and resources. Perfect for beginning gardeners, or for those who want to expand their current gardening endeavors, and perhaps try something new.

We will provide a snack during the workshop, so please inform us if you have any dietary restrictions. Please dress in comfortable and warm clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

**Stay tuned - In the event of cold and/or rainy weather, we will postpone the workshop to Rain Date TBD. RSVPs and ticket purchases are encouraged at: https://www.eatyouryarderie.com/workshops. There is a minimum of 4 signups to run the workshop.
